Glikofilousa V: The bow for the northern seas
With an export orientation and aiming at the markets of the North, especially Ukraine and Russia, the Greek-made arms were designed and manufactured in Ampelakia, Salamina, with the open-air double-breasted “Glyfofilousa V”, with a capacity of 210 vehicles and 1,000 passengers.
The ship was built at the shipyard of Theodoropoulos Group, exclusively by the staff and craftsmen of the Greek shipyard. It was designed by a Greek shipbuilder based in Piraeus and awaiting buyer has already started his first routes on the line Salamina-Perama.
According to Mr. Giannis Theodoropoulos, technical director of the Group, for its construction, which lasted 7 months, more than 300 people have worked.
